Order Management


Overview

Order Management helps users review and process draft orders from Shopify inside the app panel.

Main tasks:

  • view orders
  • check status and budget impact
  • take allowed actions based on role

Where to Find Orders

Go to Draft Orders from the app menu.

Your list is automatically limited by your access:

  • Company Admin can see all company orders
  • other users mainly see orders for assigned locations

What You See in the Order List

The order list includes:

  • order name
  • status
  • ordered by
  • location
  • created date
  • total amount
  • budget exceeded flags

You can also filter by order status.

Open an Order

Click View on an order to open details.

On the order page, users may see actions such as:

  • Submit for Approval
  • Send to Rework
  • Confirm Order

These actions appear only when your role and the order status allow them.

Conditions apply (status, ownership, budget, and location assignment).

Order Status Guide

  • Draft: Waiting for review.
  • Pending Approval: Waiting for approval decision.
  • Needs Rework: Needs changes before next step.
  • Approved: Approved.
  • Processing: Being sent to Shopify.
  • Completed: Finished successfully.
  • Failed: Sending failed.
  • Cancelled: Cancelled.

Common Questions

Why do I not see action buttons?

Your role or the current order status does not allow those actions.

Why can I view one order but not another?

Access depends on ownership, role, and location assignment.

Why can I not edit line items?

Line editing is limited by role and status.
